Previously, in the framework of the heading #acquaintance_with_FES, we considered the general components of a photovoltaic plant and their types. Today we delve into more specific differences between them.
Contrary to the general idea about solar power plants, the network FES will not provide you with electricity in the event of a power outage, due to the lack of an energy storage system (accumulator batteries, hereinafter – AKB).
This type of solar power plant is the cheapest due to the reduced number of system elements, and grid inverters, compared to others, have the most attractive price. The economic attractiveness of investments in this type of stations is the highest, due to the shortest payback period and a significant service life.
Autonomous photovoltaic stations do not work with the general electrical network, they provide different modes of operation of electrical appliances from batteries. With such operation of the system, in the event of a power outage, the owner of the house will be able to use the stored electricity for a certain time (depending on the reserved capacity of the battery) without any noticeable discomfort.
The advantage of such stations is energy independence and comfort. You will not feel a direct economic effect from such stations, so such stations are most popular among people who have problems with the quality of the electrical network and frequent power outages.
Hybrid photoelectric stations have the highest cost, since the system is equipped with a battery, and in addition, one inverter performs both the function of transmitting electrical energy to the network and maintaining a reserve at a sufficient level for comfortable use of electricity from the battery.
Choosing a solution with a hybrid inverter, you can be sure that power outages will not affect your private household in any way. At the same time, thanks to the possibility of supplying electricity to the network at a “green tariff”, such stations are occupied faster than autonomous ones, although they require larger initial capital investments.
