Green tariff

Changes in the green tariff from 2020

Changes in the green tariff from 2020:
1) The coefficient of the green tariff for private solar power plants commissioned in the period from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024 has been reduced by 10% compared to the previous value.
2) The change in the coefficient directly affected the value of the “green tariff”: 16 eurocents per kilowatt-hour excluding taxes.
*the specified changes do not apply to stations that were put into operation earlier.
In addition to the above-mentioned corrections, the green tariff was recalculated quarterly to the euro exchange rate, currently we have the following green tariff rates for stations with a capacity of up to 30 kW in hryvnia:
from April 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014 – 943.71 kopecks/kWh (without VAT);
from January 1, 2015 to June 30, 2015 – 848.78 kopecks/kWh (without VAT);
from July 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015 – 527.12 kopecks/kWh (without VAT);
from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 – 500.20 kopecks/kWh (without VAT);
from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019 – 476.11 kopecks/kWh (without VAT);
from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2024 – 427.93 kopecks/kWh (without VAT)”.

In the next article, we will consider in detail the formula for calculating the “green tariff” rate using a specific example.
